This is not a BMW only club (hence the “Plus” in the club name); if you're a rider, you're welcome. However, we do abide by local noise-abatement ordinances. You also do not have to be a member of the BMW MOA to join; but we do encourage MOA membership. Our membership dues are $10 per calendar year, $15 for families. Each paid member is entitled to a club sticker, suitable for slapping on a pannier or framing. You don’t have to join the club in order to attend meetings or events, just ride safe.
The club now meets at Legend's Burgers in Jacksonville, Texas (1630 S. Jackson St), at 6:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month.
We look forward to seeing you at a meet-up!
The East Texas BMW Plus Motorcycle Club was established in December, 1987 as a charter club (#177) with the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America (BMW MOA). The club met, held campouts, and went on rides for many years. The club stopped meeting for a while, and was reformed in the fall of 2012. Since that time, club membership has risen from ten to almost 40.
